[사건의내막/ 박연파 기자] = 삼성전자가 합리적 가격의 5G 스마트폰 ‘갤럭시 A33(Galaxy A33)’을 29일 출시한다고 밝혔다.

슬림한 베젤을 적용해 세련된 디자인을 갖춘 갤럭시 A33 5G‘는 6.4형(162.1㎜) 대화면의 슈퍼 AMOLED 디스플레이로 쾌적한 시야를 제공한다. 특히 90㎐ 화면 주사율을 지원해 몰입감도 강화했다.

갤럭시 A33 5G는 후면에 OIS (Optical Image Stabilization, 광학식 손 떨림 보정)를 탑재한 4800만 화소의 메인 카메라와 함께 800만 화소 초광각 카메라, 500만 화소 접사 카메라, 200만 화소 심도 카메라 등 총 4개 카메라를 탑재해 다양한 환경에서도 안정적이고 생생한 사진을 촬영할 수 있다. 전면에는 1300만 화소 카메라를 탑재했다.

5㎚ 프로세서를 탑재한 갤럭시 A33 5G는 강력한 인공지능(AI) 기술로 저조도에서도 더 밝고, 선명한 이미지를 촬영할 수 있다.

한 단계 진화한 ‘야간 모드’는 자동으로 최대 12장을 촬영하고 합성해 야간 사진의 선명도를 높인다. 저조도 환경에서 동영상을 촬영할 때도 자동으로 프레임레이트(framerate)가 조정돼 더 선명한 결과물을 얻을 수 있다. 프레임레이트는 1초 동안 재생되는 이미지의 수를 의미한다(ex. 24fps = 1초에 24장).

갤럭시 A33 5G는 듀얼 카메라에 AI 기술을 접목한 ‘인물 모드’로 더 정확하고 깊이 있는 인물 촬영이 가능하며, 재미있는 필터와 효과를 사용할 수 있는 ‘펀(Fun) 모드’를 지원해 사진 촬영의 즐거움을 한층 더했다.

특히 저화질이나 오래된 사진을 최적의 해상도·밝기·색감 등을 찾아 자동으로 보정하는 ‘사진 리마스터’ 기능과 함께 사진에 찍힌 불필요한 사물을 말끔하게 제거할 수 있는 ‘AI 지우개’ 기능도 지원한다.

이외에도 갤럭시 A33 5G는 5000mAh 대용량 배터리와 128GB 내장 메모리를 탑재해 사용자가 더 오랜 시간, 더 많은 데이터를 활용할 수 있다. IP67 등급의 방수 방진 기능을 지원해 일상생활에서 물과 먼지 걱정 없이 안심하고 사용할 수 있다.

갤럭시 A33 5G는 자급제와 이동통신 3사 모델로 출시되며 가격은 49만9400원이다. 색상은 △어썸 블루 △어썸 블랙 △어썸 화이트 3가지다. 삼성전자는 갤럭시 A33 5G 구매 고객을 대상으로 프리미엄 동영상 스트리밍 멤버십 ‘유튜브 프리미엄’ 2개월 무료 체험권을 제공할 예정이다.

The advanced ‘Night Mode’ automatically shoots and synthesizes up to 12 photos to enhance the clarity of night photos. Even when shooting video in low-light conditions, the frame rate is automatically adjusted to get clearer results. Frame rate refers to the number of images played in 1 second (ex. 24 fps = 24 frames per second).

In particular, it supports the 'Photo Remaster' function that automatically corrects low-quality or old photos by finding the optimal resolution, brightness, and color, as well as the 'AI Eraser' function that can cleanly remove unnecessary objects in the photo.

In addition, the Galaxy A33 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh large-capacity battery and 128GB of internal memory, allowing users to utilize more data for a longer period of time.
