환경부는 17일 정부서울청사에서 열린 제2차 사회관계장관회의에서 이 같은 내용을 포함한 ‘탄소중립 국민 실천운동 추진계획’을 발표했다.
환경부는 이번 추진계획을 통해 다회용기 사용 등 국민 누구나 생활 속에서 쉽게 실천할 수 있는 생활 밀착형 자원 순환 분야에 집중해 범국민 실천운동을 전개할 계획이다.
특히, 기업의 이에스지(ESG) 경영 확대로 형성된 사회적 분위기를 탄소중립 실천 서비스 산업 활성화 계기로 활용하고 탄소중립에 대한 관심과 이해도가 높은 청년세대 참여를 위한 맞춤형 유인체계도 마련한다는 방침이다.
이를 위해 우선 영화관, 장례식장 등 일회용품 다량 사용처를 대상으로 다회용기 세척·대여 서비스업과 연계한 지원 사업을 중점적으로 추진한다.
환경부는 다회용기·컵 활용 초기시장을 형성하기 위해 우선 정부·지자체 청사 내 커피 전문점에 다회용컵 매장 전환사업을 추진한다.
취약계층에 안정적인 일자리 제공을 위해 지역자활센터 등의 대여·세척 서비스 사업을 활성화한다. 전국 자활센터에 다회용기 회수·서비스 사업단을 구성하고 관련 업종을 장애인표준사업장으로 지원할 계획이다.
