The ceremony held at the headquarters of KB Kookmin Bank in Yeouido was attended by KB Kookmin Bank President Huh In, President of Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Support Corporation Heo Gyeong-gu and officials from both companies.
The main point of this agreement is to share market information and business information on overseas infrastructure projects and promote joint marketing. The main contents are △ joint discovery of overseas infrastructure projects △ financial advisory and financial arrangements for joint development projects △ mutual cooperation in financial support such as loans and equity investments.
KIND supports domestic companies' overseas orders through all-round support, from project planning to feasibility study support, business development and investment, financial structuring advice, etc. for domestic companies to enter overseas infrastructure business.
KB Kookmin Bank has recently expanded its financial sector to various overseas infrastructure projects such as power generation in North America, Europe, and Australia, renewable energy, and public-private partnership projects (PPP), based on many years of financial arrangement know-how and experience in Korea.
Through this agreement, KB Kookmin Bank is expected to create synergies in financial support for overseas infrastructure projects by linking KB Kookmin Bank's financial arrangement functions and KIND's business discovery capabilities, and actively promotes entry into the infrastructure market of emerging countries following the infrastructure market of developed countries. It will be an opportunity to do it.
