이번 나눔 기술들은 삼성전자가 보유한 기술 중에서 중소·중견기업에 제공할 경우 활용가치가 높을 것으로 예상되는 231건의 특허를 선별한 것이다.

 

기술 나눔은 중소·중견기업의 기술경쟁력 확보와 혁신성장을 지원하기 위해 2013년부터 대기업·공공기관 등이 보유한 미활용 기술을 중소·중견기업에 무상으로 이전해 주는 사업이다.

 

이번 나눔 대상인 주요기술을 살펴보면, 착용자의 두피로부터 신호를 측정해 현재 보행 속도를 계산하고 목표로 하는 보행 속도가 되도록 보조 토크를 연산해 출력하는 착용형 로봇이나, 사용자의 화면 구부림 동작만으로 플렉서블 디스플레이 화면의 물체가 이동해 앱 기능을 실행하는 디스플레이 장치 특허 등이 있다.

2015년부터 해마다 기술 나눔에 참여해 온 삼성전자는 지난해까지 559개 기업에 1014건의 기술을 무상 이전해 중소·중견기업과의 동반성장을 적극 실천하고 있다.

 

2020년 삼성전자로부터 이미지 내 반사광 제거 기술을 이전받은 ㈜키워드랩은 해당 기술을 적용한 카메라 렌즈 모듈 신제품을 개발해 수출 등을 통해 지난해 5억 1000만 원의 매출을 달성하고 8명 신규 고용도 창출한 기업으로, 삼성전자 기술 나눔의 우수 사례로 꼽힌다.

 

나눔 신청은 접수 홈페이지(www.tech-storm.io/techshare)에서 할 수 있고 이후 심의를 거쳐 나눔 대상으로 선정되면 나눔에 관심 있는 중소·중견기업을 대상으로 하는 ‘삼성전자 기술 나눔 현장 설명회’도 다음 달 16일 개최(서울 양재 엘타워)할 예정이다.
