이날 행사는 개발 경과와 주요 성과 보고, 대통령 축전 낭독, 장관 축사, 표창장 및 감사장 수여 순으로 진행됐다.
윤석열 대통령은 축전을 통해 성공적인 L-SAM 개발종료를 축하하고 관계관들의 노고에 사의를 표했다.
김용현 장관은 축사를 통해 “L-SAM은 앞으로 우리의 영공을 지키는 수호자이자 억제자로 우리 국민의 생명과 재산을 지킬 것”이라고 밝히고 “북한이 미사일 도발을 감행하더라도 우리 군의 견고한 방어망을 뚫을 수 없을 것이며, 도발로 얻는 이익보다 정권 종말이라는 더 큰 대가를 치르게 될 것”이라고 강조했다.

한편, 이날 행사에 앞서 국방AI센터를 방문한 김용현 장관은 현재 연구개발 중인 무인항공기(UAV)와 무인지상차량(UGV) 간 협업 정찰임무 수행체계의 진행 상황을 확인했다.
