[사건의내막 / 문홍철 기자] = 산업통상자원부는 새해 첫 소재·부품·장비(소부장) 산업 기술지원을 위해 올해 융합혁신지원단 기술지원사업을 실시한다고 8일 밝혔다.

융합혁신지원단은 38개 공공연구기관 협의체로, 공공연이 보유한 기술·인력·장비 등을 활용해 국내 소부장 기업의 현장기술 애로를 해결하는 기술 멘토 역할을 수행하고 있다.

융합혁신지원단 기술지원사업은 기업애로의 난이도에 따라 컨설팅 및 현장기술을 지원(3개월 이내)하는 기술애로분석·단기기술지원과 공공연-기업 간 공동 R&D를 지원(1년 이내)하는 심화기술지원으로 나뉜다.

기술애로분석·단기기술지원은 연중 애로사항 접수 및 기술지원을 실시하며, 심화기술지원은 공고를 통해 총 30개 과제를 선정해 지원할 예정이다.

심화기술지원사업 공고 기간은 이날부터 다음 달 10일까지며 신청은 범정부통합연구지원시스템으로 하면 된다.

융합혁신지원단은 2020년 4월 출범 이후 지난해 12월까지 5000여 개 기업, 1만 3000여 건의 기술 애로를 지원했으며, 이를 통해 수요기업의 기술력 향상, 사업화를 통한 매출액 증가 및 신규고용 증진 등 중소 소부장기업의 기술애로 해결 플랫폼으로 자리 잡았다.

나성화 산업부 산업공급망정책관은 “올해는 글로벌 경제의 불확실성으로 소부장 기업지원이 어느 때보다 필요한 상황”이라고 강조하고 “기존의 업종별 지원 외에도 특화단지 등 지역별 소부장 기업을 대상으로 융합혁신지원단이 직접 찾아가 문제를 해결하고 소부장 기업의 판로개척 및 글로벌 기술 혁신 지원도 강화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
