4월 소비자물가가 2.6% 상승한 데 대해서는 "석유 최고가격제와 유류세 인하 등 고유가 대응 조치로 4월 소비자물가 상승폭을 약 1.2%p 정도 낮춘 것으로 추정된다"며 "특히, 미국·영국 등 주요국의 소비자물가가 3%를 상회하고 있는 상황에서 우리나라는 2%대 초중반을 기록했다"고 강조했다.
