윤호중 행안부 장관은 이날 서울 종로구 사직동 주민센터 사전투표소를 방문해 투표 준비 현황을 점검하고 실제 환경을 가정한 모의시험 진행 과정을 꼼꼼히 살폈다.

 

특히, 투표자가 투표소에 들어서서 기표와 투표를 마치고 나가기까지 이동 경로를 직접 확인하며 엘리베이터, 경사로 등 이동약자를 위한 편의시설 설치 상태를 중점적으로 점검했다.

아울러, 전력 과부하에 따른 누전이나 화재 등 안전사고를 방지하기 위한 소방 대책도 함께 확인했다.

소방청도 신속한 화재 대응 체계를 마련하고, 전국 사전투표소의 화재 위험 요인을 사전에 제거하기 위해 주력하고 있다.
